I would like to thank the many people who visited my exhibition. There is only one week left in the month-long exhibition.
My chance encounter with pinhole photography in Paris in 1989, the 150th anniversary of the invention of photography, gave a clear direction to my previously vague dream of taking and printing black-and-white photographs.
Although pinhole photography can be created entirely by hand, from camera making to printing, I consider printing in the darkroom to be the most important part. As in previous exhibitions, each of my works in this exhibition was hand-printed by myself.
I am grateful for the opportunity to have this month-long exhibition to show my photographs not as immaterial images seen on LCD screens, but as material formed on photographic paper, which is increasingly rare today.
I will be at the gallery from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM from September 26 to 29 and from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on September 30 and October 1. Please take this opportunity to view my original prints.
